ABOUT RENE LEZCANO

Rene Lezcano was born in Miami, Florida on 1987. At a very young age, he felt in love with the film industry as he discovered that he has a gift of telling stories. Having found his passion in film after graduating from G. Holmes Braddock Senior High School he quickly enrolled in the Art Institute | Miami International University of Art & Design of Miami to start his studies in  or Cinematography and Film|Video Production.

During his time at the Art Institute he completed coursework for his major including visual storytelling, film aesthetics, screenwriting fundamentals, production design and management, multimedia law, editing, directing, cinematography, overview of digital arts, audio design and techniques, production, and history in film; which allows him to have a complete understanding of filmmaking and video production.

Shortly after graduation Rene Lezcano was diagnosed with T cell A.L.L acute lymphoblastic leukemia, a form of cancer found in the blood. This new challenge lasted approximately 3 years in which overcoming this disease was the only goal in life. As of today he is currently cancer free.

Since graduating with his BFA, Rene has been working in sales which has complemented his storytelling abilities in a unique way; and has allowed him to have a more complete vision of what clients want and need.
